How it works

Can I convert units?

No. Labels such as g, ml, and cup are kept as text. The tool does not estimate density or convert volume.

What happens to “To taste”?

Choosing “To taste” clears that row’s amount. Both original and scaled amounts remain to taste. Turning it off requires a new amount.

How are decimals rounded?

Enter up to 3 decimal places. The serving ratio is calculated exactly, then displayed with up to 3 decimal places. A value exactly halfway rounds up; rounded results are marked approximate.

Do cooking time and temperature scale too?

No. This tool only calculates mathematical ingredient ratios. Choose suitable cookware, cooking time, temperature, seasoning, and food-safety practices yourself.

Is my recipe saved?

Inputs are processed in the current page’s memory without uploads or automatic saving. Clearing, leaving, or reloading does not restore a draft. You decide where to paste any text you copy.
